About Us

In 1980, seeing the need for better conservation on his family farm, George Mainor installed drain tile in the fields that would not drain naturally. This led to the other farmers contacting him to provide this service for them. This business continued to prosper.

Since Duplin County is highly agricultural and the home of many hog farmers, the need for irrigation systems and waste water disposal arose. In 1995, George expanded his drain tile operation to include irrigation and founded Mainor Tile & Irrigation Company, Inc. Thankfully, this business has been very successful.
